Martha Jimenez Perez participates in the collective exhibition Seven colors

Camaguey- The artist Martha Jimenez Perez took part in the collective exhibition "Seven colors", inaugurated on Thursday, May 16 at Gallery Republica 289, of the Provincial Council of Visual Arts (CPAP).

17 artists participated in the exhibition, among them Jimenez Perez, with a piece worked on the technique of printing intervened with acrylic and ink, entitled "Silence?".

"The work takes as a pretext the complicity of dialogue that Martha Jimenez repeatedly addresses in her artistic discourse and raises, among many questions, whether it is irreverent or not to maintain a passive attitude towards homophobia", said Yaniel Perez Guerra, specialist of the Studio-Workshop Martha Jimenez.

The exhibition was attended by provincial directives of Culture, in Camaguey. It was also honored with the presence of Dr. Mariela Castro Espin, director of the National Center for Sex Education (CENESEX).
